Connie Loaring (Shelle Pace)
She says, ‘I was watching Alice write the last message for another daughter who has lost her Mum, same age as me and I felt like I could agree with everything she said. Missing the hugs, the chats, the love, the tea. I was content, it took me a while but I got there, I was content. Life throws you curve balls and the best plan of action is to catch them and send them in the direction you want them to go. You’re in charge of your own destiny. Remember no-one is making you do anything but you. If you could hear me right now you’d hear me say, ‘stop it, do what you want to do, not what you feel you should do’.
I’m proud of you for being as determined as you are. She’s with her Mum which makes her laugh, I think things were tricky with them but she says, ‘all’s good now’. Someone needs to go to the dentist, don’t put it off, get it sorted.
Remember I’m watching everything you do at Christmas, on birthdays, weddings etc. I’m not missing a thing and you are 100% correct when you say, “Mum wouldn’t agree to that” or “Mum wouldn’t do it like that” and you make me smile every time. Please be happy my love, life is so short/quick, be happy and do what you want to, not what you feel you should. She loves her grandchildren, there’s a really special little girl and she thanks you for her. Keep reading, keep writing and keep laughing. If friendship and relationships don’t make you laugh then move on!
I love you and am so proud of you all.
